Tuesday night November 19, 2013's Minotaur 1 rocket has successfully launched into orbit with a record 29 satellites aboard.
The word was that I should be able to see the launch from where I live, Neptune, New Jersey.  3 miles from the Ocean.
The launch was at Wallops Island, Virginia.  It was easy to see naked eye.  Very bright.  I managed to get 7 good shots.  And I did
this from the deck of my home.  Never went to the Ocean.  The first shot is
about 10 or so seconds after launch.   I placed the photos in the order that I took them. 3 pictures on  this page.
This is the first shot taken.  It was 8:17PM.  Camera: Canon Xsi, Canon 18-55mm Lens @ 55mm, 10 second exposure.
Notice the smoke trail. 8:18PM.
